Works great for my needs January 8, 2010 Morganna Wolf (Pacific NW) 5 out of 6 found this review helpful
I use this to line the compost collection can I keep under the sink or I use one when I am doing a big cooking project to gather compostable items. If I let things set in the bag more than 5 days the bags start to leak as they start to break down. And breaking down is what I want them to do as I put them into my compost bin. Even in winter I notice that they start breaking down rather quickly. I am sure by spring when I am ready to use my compost these bags will be fully intergrated into my compost.

These liners work great to use in our kitchen composting container. When they're full, I just take it out to the larger bin and my container is clean and ready to be refilled.
compostable June 1, 2010 Linda C. Tomchin (la quinta, ca) 1 out of 1 found this review helpful
Here in San Francisco, we have to compost our food garbage, and these bags fit nicely into the compostable bins supplied by the garbage company. Even though they are only 1 gallon, a lot can be put into them. There is no smell as these bags are high quality.
Much better than BioBag June 10, 2010 H. Magen (San Francisco, CA) 1 out of 1 found this review helpful
I have been collecting all my food waste since we have curbside pickup of compost. I have an under sink container to keep this and it can get real dirty unless i line the container. Paper bags disintegrate too easily, and so do the BioBag product that is available. I have had the biobag product fall apart and leak all too often, but it is the only product that is available on the shelves of the local stores. I found Ecosafe here on Amazon and they are much stronger and more durable. Great product.
Pricey but couldn't find the smaller size in store. December 8, 2009 The Grill Man 4 out of 5 found this review helpful
I bought these because I could only find the 33 gallon Husky EcoGuard Lawn & Leaf bags locally. While they are somewhat thinner than the EcoGuard, they do get the job done. For the $9.99 price at the time, I was able to purchase 25 of these 2.5 gallon bags for a little more than the price of 10 of the larger bags available locally.
