I have already used, and dishwasher washed these tongs a number of times. I especially like to use the narrower tongs to get bread items out of my toaster. However, both tongs work well when cooking with any type of teflon coated pans. These are quality made wooden tongs that would be plus to have in any busy kitchen.

These tongs are perfect. Well constructed and sturdy. Although a tad more expensive then other bamboo tongs you can purchase, their quality is well worth the price.

THESE WERE JUST EXACTLY WHAT I WAS LOOKING FOR. BAMBOO AND BOTH THE PERECT SIZE FOR THE SPECIFIC TASK THAT I WANTED TO USE THEM FOR. THE QUALITY IS OUTSTANDING AND BETTER THAN MOST PRICED TWICE AS MUCH.

After using this set of 2 Pinzon bamboo tongs for a month now, I've found them to be surprisingly useful. I got mine as a free review set, but at the price that they've been going for on Amazon they easily match or beat anything you'll see at your local kitchen utensil store.
There is one large pair of tongs in the set and one small pair. I've been using the small pair to take bagels and toast out of my toaster oven and wide-slot toaster. If you have a skinny slot toaster, the small tongs might be a little too big to fit in there to pull out slices of bread. But it's great for removing anything out of a spacious toaster oven.
The large tongs are versatile for lots of cooking needs. I used them for pasta, and as some other reviewers mentioned, angel hair pasta can get stuck in the grooves of the tongs. If you rinse the tongs with water immediately after use while the pasta is still warm and wet, it all seems to fall out of the grooves, though. In addition, the size of the tongs is great for picking up whole fish fillets out of a teflon frying pan and flipping them over. The bamboo doesn't scratch the teflon surface like metal tongs do.
Really, at the price that they're listed for on here there isn't anything to complain about. I like their open-and-closing responsiveness and they seem durable enough to last a long time. I doubt you'll be disappointed with this Pinzon set if you're shopping for some wooden tongs.
