Product Description A definite design masterpiece, and it's functional. Shota the Database got me one of these as part of the Lab's annual inter-office Secret Santa, and it has quickly become my favorite drinking cup. For those who don't know, this graphics on the mug are featured on deli coffee cups all over the NYC, it's as New York as the footlong and knish combo at MSG. The maker of the mug version really thought this one out, replicating the shape and approximate size of the original. The best part of the cup is the thickness and matte finish... ahh, it feels great in your hand. The finishing detail is that they've included a raised strip, replicating the area where the paper is glued together (never realized how functional for grip this is). Everyone loves this thing. Highly recommended.

Whimsical and practical. July 3, 2009 Auliya (Austin, TX USA) 15 out of 15 found this review helpful
I use this cup at work and it has delighted everyone who sees it. It passes itself off as a paper cup until you touch it, which is pretty fun, as far as "fun" from a coffee cup can go. It's usable, pleasant to the touch, and easy to clean. And hey, it's fun to spot the very same cup in its original paper format on so many of the various cop shows on television. I am probably not supposed to name these shows directly in a review, but I've found myself pointing to the screen. Me: "See. He has my cup. The very same cup!" Them: "Okay, would you shut up about your cup?" Me: "But it's exactly like my cup!" Them: "WE KNOW." I recommend this product.
Ah Coffee! January 7, 2009 Queens Girl (New Jersey) 6 out of 6 found this review helpful
As a transplanted New Yorker I am all too familiar with the "Happy to Serve You" paper cups you get all over the City. Having given this cup to my cousin, she was blown away at how "lifelike" this cup is. It's sturdy ceramic that is made to look exactly like the paper cup - right down to the seam on the side! It's a comforting piece of home. Also, since there is no handle, it keeps your hands warm too! Awesome!
Great buy! January 6, 2009 A. Kelley 4 out of 4 found this review helpful
This ceramic coffee mug looks just like those little styrofoam cups you get on the go in New York CIty! It's heavier and smaller than a normal coffee mug and has a rounded edge around the top. BUY IT ON AMAZON as it is more expensive on the website momastore.com and others I've found.

I left New York for greener pastures five years ago and I remember my morning routine of buying a 50 cent cup of coffee, sweet and light, from the bagel cart outside my hospital, rain, shine, or snow. This is a great way to start the day!
Fantastic feel January 21, 2010 Jason Chastain 1 out of 1 found this review helpful
If you like the looks of this cup, get it. It feels so much better in real life. I was afraid that the heat from the coffee would make this impossible to hold, but it's not. You feel a little warmth, but nothing outside of the tolerance level.
Plus, the little "seam" on the back is a wonderful accent.
Again, if you're on the fence about these, buy these mugs. You'll be glad you did.
