Is this easy to install? Yes. (You'll need a drill, drill bits, and a screwdriver, along with the knowledge of how to use them.)
Does work? Yes, quite well. There are no areas which will not hold a knife. The magnets are quite powerful, so be sure to approach the holder with the knife spine-first.
Does it look good? Yes, it makes quite a statement, both in function and decoration.
To give you an idea of space available, we have five knives on it; a chef's knife, three santoku knives of varying sizes, and a decent-sized serrated knife.
I appreciate that there is no metal to contact the knife blades. The subtle curved shape is visually appealing.
